This is the role - What you will do:

As a Procurement Buyer at Evondos, you play a key role in ensuring that materials and components flow smoothly from development to production. Working closely with your Supply Chain team, Production, and R&D and other departments, you help ensure availability, reliability, and transparency across our sourcing operations.

The role is based at our headquarters in Salo, Finland, with the possibility of partial remote work. You will report to the Director, Supply Chain Operations.

Your key responsibilities include

• Coordinating and executing purchasing activities for R&D samples, prototype series, and mass production volumes

• Managing supplier collaboration, including forecasting, purchasing, claim handling, and transportation

• Monitoring deliveries, handling past-due shipments, and managing invoice controls

• Managing inventory levels and maintaining accurate purchasing, pricing, and stock records

• Arranging inbound transportation with local and global forwarders

• Maintaining and developing ERP data related to components, stock, and product structures, acting as a key user within Supply Chain Operations

• Contributing to PLM (product lifecycle management) development as part of the Supply Chain Operations team

This could be you

You bring a structured and proactive approach to procurement and supply chain work. You are comfortable collaborating across functions, enjoy improving processes, and are not afraid to challenge the status quo when needed.

You might have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and at least 5 years of relevant experience

• Good understanding of inventory management principles

• Experience with ERP systems, including setup and development

• Experience with PLM/PDM systems

• Fluent English communication skills, written and spoken

• Finnish language proficiency (highly beneficial)

• Solid IT skills and confidence using modern tools

• Clear communication skills across different levels of the organization

• A proactive mindset and a continuous improvement attitude
