This is the role - What you will do:
We’re looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition who is excited to build something exceptional from the ground up — not from the sidelines, but by rolling up your sleeves and also delivering high-quality hiring while shaping the TA function Evondos will rely on as we grow.
This is a role for someone who already has built or seen what great TA functions looks like and is ready to bring that into a growing, international environment — balancing hands-on recruitment with building a function that truly supports the business as we scale.
In this role, you will:
Build the Talent Acquisition Function
• Shape and implement a scalable, multi-country TA setup that supports how we grow as a business, bringing structure where needed while keeping things practical and human
• Create clarity across the hiring lifecycle, from role definition to assessment and decision-making, so that we hire consistently and well across markets
• Define and track meaningful TA metrics that guides decisions and help us continuously improve
• Strengthen and expand the TA capability and team over time, supporting the growth of the team and how we work together
• Partner with broader People & Culture team and Marketing to strengthen Evondos’ employer brand in all our markets
• Bring in modern practices — from structured assessment to AI-assisted sourcing
Hands-on Recruitment Delivery
• Personally drive end-to-end recruitment for a significant share of roles across multiple countries
• Work in close collaboration with our current TA Specialist — supporting, sparring, and strengthening how we deliver recruitment together
• Lead direct sourcing efforts and build strong talent pipelines, reducing reliance on agencies.
Strategic Contribution & Partnership
• Partner with hiring managers and leaders by providing the tools, guidance and market insight they need — acting as a trusted advisor to help them make confident, well-informed hiring decisions
• Contribute to workforce planning by bringing clarity on availability, timelines, and sourcing approaches.
• Connect TA to the broader People & Culture strategy through insights from the candidate market.
• Represent Evondos externally as an ambassador for our culture and mission.
Why you will enjoy it:
🤝 Real ownership — You get to shape how Talent Acquisition works at Evondos and influence key hires during an important growth phase.
🚀 A builder’s playground — We’re scaling fast, and you’ll get plenty of room to shape the processes, standards and tools that make sustainable growth possible.
🌟 High impact — Your work directly affects business performance and our ability to deliver meaningful care solutions across Europe. This is a job with a meaningful purpose of enabling independent life at home for our end users.
🌍 Hybrid and flexible working — The role is hybrid, with a mix of working remotely and from the office, and you can plan your schedule with collaborative and focused work days while still meeting the team in person from time to time to stay connected.
💜 A human, low-ego culture — You’ll join a People & Culture team and work with people who care about doing things well, supporting each other, and keeping things real.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have extensive experience across Talent Acquisition and have seen or built strong TA structures and ways of working before — ideally in a scale-up or growing environment.
Are comfortable balancing hands-on hiring and operational tasks with shaping how things should work longer term
Understand how Talent Acquisition connects to business needs, growth and ROI — and can translate that into practical action
Have experience working across multiple countries and understand the dynamics of international hiring
Bring leadership experience — whether through supporting, guiding or building a TA team
Are a strong direct sourcer who knows how to engage people who aren’t actively looking — and can teach others to do the same
Are confident working and presenting decisions with data, systems and structured approaches to hiring
Are fluent in English; additional languages relevant to our markets are a plus (Nordic languages or Dutch).
But above all, you’re someone who gets things done. You bring energy, clarity and direction — and you’re just as comfortable working operationally as you are thinking ahead and setting the path forward.
You could start as soon as possible and work full-time in a hybrid setup either in Finland (offices in Helsinki or Salo) or in the Netherlands (office in Zoetermeer).
