This is the role
The Product Manager – Medido Hardware guides the development and life-cycle management of Medido hardware and firmware offering. In this role, you help shape product strategy and create roadmap to ensure Medido hardware’s success in the market by balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
Your work closely with cross-functional teams to guide a product domain through new development, the full product life cycle, and key transitions. You act as an advocate for the product and a connector between teams – always keeping in mind our mission to enable independent living at home with more efficient, reliable, and safer devices for home care.
What you’ll do - (aka: how you’ll make a real impact)
You will be responsible for both strategic direction and operational execution, covering the full scope of hardware and firmware product management from long-term roadmap to hands-on delivery.
Strategic direction
Shape the long‑term strategy and lead the product roadmap for Medido’s hardware and firmware portfolio
Ensure technology choices are aligned with business objectives, user needs, and regulatory requirements
End-to-end product development
Lead the device through the complete development lifecycle, from concept and development to launch
Balance customer requirements, technical feasibility, and commercial considerations in decision-making
Cross-functional collaboration
Work closely with R&D, cloud software, operations, and commercial teams to deliver integrated, high-quality hardware solutions
Represent the hardware and firmware domain in cross-functional forums and act as a key point of contact for related topics
Product lifecycle management and continuous improvement
Own and manage the hardware product lifecycle, including version transitions, performance improvements, and end-of-life planning
Leverage data, analytics, and customer feedback to drive continuous product and process improvements
International growth and business development support
Support readiness for international expansion by aligning supply chain, operational processes, and support structures
Contribute to business cases and evaluations of long-term investments in hardware and firmware development
Innovation and future development
Promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and effective collaboration across teams
Contribute to defining the future direction of Medido’s hardware and firmware development

This could be you
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
2-4 years of experience specifically in hardware product management roles or related. Experience contributing to hardware product development projects from conception to launch.
Fluency in English and preferably in Dutch (any other European language skill is a plus).
Drives initiatives proactively and dynamically in efficient collaboration across technical, operational, and commercial functions.
Thrives in an environment where analytics, customer feedback and market/user research are essential. Data-informed and customer-obsessed, balances qualitative insight with quantitative evidence.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to coordinate effectively with cross‑functional teams while navigating multiple priorities.
Acts with integrity and a sense of purpose aligned to Evondos’ mission to improve medication adherence and independence in home care.
Experience with medical devices and the related regulatory environment is beneficial.
