This individual will play a key role in enhancing our employee experience for our Dutch colleagues by taking care of assigned initiatives and tasks related to payroll, compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance and well-being.

Key responsibilities

As a People & Culture Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of independent tasks to support and enhance our workplace culture:

· Coordinating payroll: gathering and verifying employee payroll data (hours, salary, benefits) and serving as the main contact between the company and the external payroll partner. Addressing payroll discrepancies and employee concerns in collaboration with the payroll provider. Regularly auditing payroll data for accuracy and compliance. Assisting employees with payroll-related inquiries.

· Day-to-day operations of compensation & benefits: Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of them for the payroll purposes.

· Well-being at work: Collaborate and implement well-being programs and practices that promote employee well-being, work-life balance, and overall employee satisfaction.

· Occupational health and safety management: Collaborate and enhance occupational health and safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Responsible for occupational health and safety management related administration and assistance in longer leaves as well as liaising with occupational health care provider.

· Compliance & employee relations: Ensure adherence to legal regulations and internal policies in your area of expertise, managing employee relations matters with sensitivity and professionalism.

· Update external sites both governmental and private regarding special leave, absence management, pensions etc.

· HR systems: Maintaining systems and processes to support the effectiveness of payroll, compensation, benefits and employee relations. Evondos is implementing BambooHR as the main HRIS.

· Other agreed areas: Contribute to additional areas of People & Culture as agreed, supporting organizational goals and fostering a positive employee experience.

This is you:

· Proven experience in a People & Culture, HR, or related field with a focus on payroll, compensation, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and employee well-being.

· Knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations and best practices.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· Fluent communication skills both in Dutch and English.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

· Analytical skills and experience with HR systems and process improvement.

· A collaborative, proactive approach to working with diverse and multicultural teams in different countries.

· Relevant HR certification or degree is a plus.
