This is the role
As Senior DevOps Engineer you are responsible for maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless operation of medication dispensing devices and services. This includes ensuring high system availability, automating processes, and adhering to security standards. You will guide and support the DevOps team and contribute to product development and technical strategy.

These are the responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain cloud platforms to achieve efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Support on-premise servers and applications
• Deliver and support on premise proprietary infrastructure at partner pharmacies/hospitals where medicine rolls are being produced.
• Proactively monitor system performance and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Share expertise, best practices, and mentor team members as needed.
• Participate in strategic discussions on tech-debt management and project execution.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless software deployment.

This is you

• You possess a strong understanding of the DevOps lifecycle and cloud infrastructure management.
• You are proficient in Linux environments and bash scripting.
• You have hands-on knowledge of DevOps automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• You bring 7+ years of DevOps experience, preferably in cloud environments.
• You are an AWS specialist with a track record in cloud services.
• You work comfortably with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• You are an effective communicator and collaborator in an English-speaking environment.
• Dutch is a big plus
• Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
• You maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and enjoy coaching less-experienced developers.
