We are looking for a Senior Computer Vision Developer to join Evondos software development team. You will take technical ownership of developing computer vision algorithms and software for the medicine dispensation robot. You will have the challenge and power to turn RGB data to both readable and actionable outputs, influencing also to flow of RGB data acquisition. You will work as a valued member of our highly talented embedded software team. Place of your office can be in Helsinki, Salo or Oulu, but remote work is also possible.

Requirements  & experience we are looking for:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in computer vision development, with a preference for candidates with 10+ years of expertise.

• Proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying computer vision algorithms in real-world applications.

Education:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Skills & knowledge:

• Excellent analytical skills to solve complex vision challenges.

• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ with extensive experience in algorithm development, optimization and integration with resource-constrained IoT hardware platforms.

• Deep knowledge of traditional imaging techniques (e.g., edge detection, filtering, segmentation, feature extraction), ideally both from image and video data..

• Expertise with AI models for object detection (e.g., R-CNN) and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow).

• Proficiency in OpenCV and tools for embedded systems or IoT platforms (e.g., TensorFlow).

• Knowledge of video/image capture and pre-processing pipelines for IoT cameras.

• Proficiency in image transformation and analysis techniques (e.g., Fourier transforms)

• English as the primary documentationing language
