We are currently looking for a Buyer to join the Evondos team.

In early 2023, Evondos acquired Medido, a Dutch provider of medication dispensing services in the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. The headquarters of Evondos Group is located in Helsinki, Finland, with the majority of its operations and production facilities in Salo, Finland.

As a Buyer, you play a key role in supporting Supply demand execution as a Procurement Buyer and will work closely with your colleagues in the Supply chain team.

In Buyer role the tasks are related to coordinate and execute material flow based on needs of R&D; samples, proto series, and mass volume demand, according to schedule, budget and other business targets. Procurement Buyer is responsible for the management of the inventory. Assisting in the receipt of purchased materials and services, and keep detailed records up to date of purchases, prices, and stocks. The buyer carefully monitors deliveries, past due shipments, claim handling and internal invoice control. The buyer also handles transportation arrangements of incoming material, with local and global forwarders. EU Intrastat and Carbon footprint calculation reporting is under buyers’ responsibility.

In this role you will:

• Manage Supplier collaboration in areas of forecasting, purchasing, claim handling and transportation, also partly managing RFQs and decision making together with SCE

• Co-operate with Production, Logistics and R&D in change management

• Maintaining data for ERP and data registrations related to components, stock, and product setups. Serving as the ERP key user in sourcing and component data maintenance. Documenting project lessons learned and sharing best practices

• PLM development responsible person in Sourcing team

• Collaborate with Quality department, Complaints Handling Suppliers.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and minimum 5 years of related experience

• Good knowledge and understanding of inventory management principles

• Deep knowledge and experience of ERP systems, setups, and development

• Experience of PLM/PDM systems, setups, and development

• Fluent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

• Good IT skills and ability to use modern tools

• Effective communication skills and ability to communicate to multiple levels within company

• Highly proactive and ability to challenge the status quo and think ‘outside the box’

• Experience with R&D development and change management processes

• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrates the capability to handle stress well while juggling priorities effectively

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
